AUTUMN 2009

Just restocking after the Biggest Uk fair at Olympia in London, a great 2 days of haggling and buying, had a great time and sold lots of cool stuff, luckily I bought and traded plenty more to make this list another good-un, over 500 new items

Enjoy the list - credit crunch - what credit crunch ? Records still make a great investment, price still rising rapidly better than watching your money in the bank, watch it going round on a turntable instead !

Due to the rubbish state of the UK economy prices may seem much better than normal to our fellow collectors worldwide, get it while you can !

Prices on the net and in particular Ebay seem to be going through the roof for nice items - we know that we could get bigger prices on some of these items there, but we run this site for the love of the music and to reward our loyal customers. We've never had ambitions to be rich (it shows!) and would rather more folks hear this great stuff we collect. Having said that a lot of our prices have risen over the years - if we get it cheap you get it cheap, if it's costs us, it costs you.

 

On a duller note, we have had to register Psychotron Records for VAT. If any of our regular customers are also registered in their own countries, please let us know. Our UK VAT number is 813 5148 48.

ALEX KORNER'S BLUES INCORPARATED AT THE CAVERN (UK ORIOLE 1964)

Played once reviewer copy, very rare UK original of this superb blues album,amazing to find in this condition, the best vinyl in the world, cover has small flap damage to rear and a couple of small corner dings, one of the raresrt uk blues R&B albums

Super sought after UK original of killer heavy acid rock. Cover near mint except for small name on rear, just couple small light corner bends, vinyl looks a strict ex with just a few v light surface only hairlines only visible under strong halogen lighting and plays m- all through, great keeper copy

Played once reviewer copy, very rare UK original of this superb psych/prog album, this is the best copy in the world I'd guess, amazing find

Super rare UK original, PEACE LOVING MAN yet to be better for fuzzed freakout solo, fantastic lp, vinyl nice and plays super, just a few light lamintion creases on the cover and light discolouration to the top rear edge from age

Her very rare 1st lp, only issued in the USA, there were two pressings in diff coloured sleeves, this is the earliest in the pinkish front cover, in superb condition with booklet ! Only 2nd I've had in over 30 years! Her voice was much sweeter then

Super are original of their 1st lp, electric leads over Turkish psych/rock/folk, really nice grows with each plays, only a few light scuffs and plays great!!, original fold out cover clean too with only wear top opening edge

FANTASY - PAINT A PICTURE (UK POLYDOR 1973)

Simply one of the best UK prog albums ever, just sublime playing and melodies and incredibly rare, 3rd copy I've had in 20 years, only flaw is a short scratch / pressing flaw right at the start which clicks a little as the music builds up on track one, after that it's superb, 1 spindle mark only, great copy and sucjh a great lp

GLASTONBURY TRIPLE (UK REVELATION 1972)

The BEST copy ever found, vinyl played once from new, all inserts (INCLUDING THE ELUSIVE PYRAMID) mint, card cover mint, pvc cover as good as you will ever get it, really top copy, you know the score, Mighty Baby / Bowie / Bolan / Hawkwind / Pink Fairies / Gong etc, well over this on the dreaded ebay

The BEST ever seen of the original issue, solid blue triangle, -2 matrix, black inner, sigle opening gatefold, ORIGINAL posters, stickers, from a guy who bought it the day of release and played it once - he didn't like it!

Blinding psych lp and great very rare UK original in nice shape, if you like the "kitchen sink" psych production this is it, has everything you could wish for!

Inundated for the last one, nice original white Islandoriginal of killer funky hammond lp, cover has light rubbing wear to rear, front and spine fine, vinyl great

Super rare UK only lp backed by Alexis Korner on guitar and Stan Greig on drums, art cover, flipback, only 2nd copy I've ever seen and the other was trashed, nice stuff

Really tough now original Blue/Black uk issue of this the LP that influeneced the whole UK 60's folk scene, not had one in 10+ years. Cover has a couple of light corner bends, not bad at all, no writing / tears etc, vinyl has just a few very light hairlines and plays mainly m-, just a few light clicks on A1, essental lp and the last mint one sold recently for £1300 !

MEIC STEVENS - OUTLANDER (UK WB 1970)

Super original copy of this most sought after acid folk/psych classic, with insert, the normally fragile cover is lovely only problem is a small sticker tear on the rear bottom is covered by "factory sample" sticker, vinyl lovely and plays great, impossible now...

One of the rarest UK lp's, fantastic pop/psych ala Keleidoscope etc, chock full of fuzz and gorgeous melodies, has a little light crackle here and there, no major flaws

UK original, stereo, sought after by freaks and DJ's alike for it's sublime mix of acid folk with more progrssive edges, few light clicks only, plays 90% m-, has small name on rear

Great loud electric set, only around 50 copies made, inc Hangman and the Papist / Lay Down etc, no cue sheets but a lovely original - super rare

Super rare original, cover has light edgewear, light dirt ring, small light stain bottom left, pretty decent for a non laminated private pressing, vinyl has one long mark side 1 which causes just a very light non disturbing "tick" for half the side or so, no thumps or loud clicks, otherwise it plays near mint, last near mint one sold for nearly £2000!
