SUMMER 2009

Enjoy the list - credit crunch - what credit crunch ? Records still make a great investment, price still rising rapidly better than watching your money in the bank, watch it going round on a turntable instead !

Due to the rubbish state of the UK economy prices may seem much better than normal to our fellow collectors worldwide, get it while you can !

Prices on the net and in particular Ebay seem to be going through the roof for nice items - we know that we could get bigger prices on some of these items there, but we run this site for the love of the music and to reward our loyal customers. We've never had ambitions to be rich (it shows!) and would rather more folks hear this great stuff we collect. Having said that a lot of our prices have risen over the years - if we get it cheap you get it cheap, if it's costs us, it costs you.

At last an official CD reissue of the magnificent Bob Theil - So Far album is out. We can supply copies at £10 plus postage. (original Canadian import or the 500 copy only Japanese import) Lovely package with the EP as bonus tracks and nice booklet. Afraid the limited 2LP vinyl reissue has now sold out, sorry.

On a duller note, we have had to register Psychotron Records for VAT. If any of our regular customers are also registered in their own countries, please let us know. Our UK VAT number is 813 5148 48.

ANDWELLAS DREAM - LOVE & POETRY (UK CBS 1969)

Super rare UK original, long sought after as a pinnacle of the UK psychedelic scene, cover has 2 lightly bent corners otherwise fine, vinyl has light pressing fault A1/b1 which causes the needle to bounce slightly but no degradation in sound and only visible when being played, last ex/ex copy on ebay over £1200 !

ARCADIUM - BREATH A WHILE (UK MIDDLE EARTH 1969)

Yes a UK original and the best I've ever seen, plays super too, one of the best of the UK progressive / psychedelic music scene, you wont ever need to upgrade this one

Original 1st press, such a grat R&B album, 1 lightly bent corner, small ding top right, lightly dirty on rear, very nice ex, vinyl fine an plays great

CATAPILLA - CHANGES (UK VERTIGO 1971)

Swirl original, in the rarest 3 on the label and by the far the best musically of them, monster lp, gimmix cover intact just a tiny 8mm/4mm sticker tear top left, the vinyl is very near mint and plays superb - playing it now dying to keep it! This is cheap now!

Excellent Swiss psych/prog on small label, nice guitar ,longish tracks and all in English, a tiny "x" by a couple of track names in the gatefold otherwise top
